Voice Announcements
DP3661e can be configured to have voice announcements; battery level, channel selection and other functions can have standard or custom voice announcements. E.g. Review
What we think
Jason from the Service Team: “ This is a hard one to comment on, similar to the DP4600 it has a reduced keypad. Design could be improved upon but as usually the engineering is very good. Option for a 3rd party option board makes this radio potentially a very flexible tool, the display is great but loses flexibility with no full keypad. Like the DP3441e performance is very good along with the options and features. I think for majority of users and for similar money I would have opted for the DP4801e with the SL2600 a very close second. Cons – the lower line of buttons (OK and Back) are too low on the case to use safely with one hand, better to redesign the speaker/speaker area to release space lower down.”
