Automatic Gain Control
This feature can automatically compensate for changes in voice level, whether you are speaking softly or loudly, turning your head, or moving the microphone further away from your mouth.
Transmit Interrupt Capability
Enables a supervisor to interrupt a DP3441e user to deliver live critical communications exactly when and where it’s needed.
Keep your communications from being intercepted and your channels secure with 16-bit encryption, other enhancements are also available using Digital Privacy and RAS (Restricted Access to System).
DP3441e can help protect those working on their own by regularly prompting the user to press a button on the radio. If the user does not respond within a specified length of time, a supervisor or dispatcher is notified that there may be a problem. A dedicated emergency channel can be utilised with radios automatically selecting this channel during an emergency call.
This uses the integrated accelerometer and automatically sends an alarm signal if the radio handset is tipped over for over a programmable amount of time. The unit also supports the anti-movement feature.
Ability to send pre-set messages via the side keypad buttons.
DP3441e can be configured to have voice announcements; battery level, channel selection and other functions can have standard or custom voice announcements. E.g. What we think
Jason from the Service Team says “Its back! the GP344 has been upgraded to full digital and full spec. The size has always been great with a good battery and accessories selection. Operationally it fits well in the hand with the PTT button suitable for gloved operation. Having the GPS and indoor options for future expansion is great, the unit can also take an option board which is amazing given its size. Using 3rd party TRBOnet SWIFT option board software and licensing enables this radio to do things we could only imagine a few years ago. Pros: A very well-designed unit, works well. Cons: Pricing is a little off putting, better to have location services kept as an upgradable licensed option to keep the base model a little cheaper. On the whole a lovely little feature rich radio.”
